GATT-AC, Inc. offers hands-on training on modern, high-speed equipment. The printing program is dedicated to serving three distinct groups: students who wish to learn more about general printing concepts, pre-press, press, post-press, color management, quality control and the printing process; students who wish to enter the printing trade after obtaining industry certification; lastly, students who wish to transfer after completing an Associate Degree in Printing Technology. This printing class is available as a learnings, seminars, or workshop for creative, marketing, and design organizations that wish to provide an understanding of how to better create artwork and design for printing.
The courses in the printing technology program provide theory and laboratory experiences that simulate live production in a commercial work enviroment. The printing program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the printing field or provide skill upgrading for students currently employed in the printing industry.
Basic Competencies - the ability to fulfill profession-related tasks with methodological know-how.
Common Competencies - one that describes the knowledge, skills, and abilities found in most or all key fire management positions. Competencies are described in terms of three “Expertise Levels” (working, journey, and expert).
Core Competencies - are the resources and capabilities that comprise the strategic advantages of a business. A modern management theory argues that a business must define, cultivate, and exploit its core competencies to succeed against the competition.

Student Enrolled in the Graphic Arts Technical Training and Assessment Center (GATT-AC), Inc. may be required to undergo a Competency Assessment before graduation. A National Certificate will be issued to students who passed this assessment.
